It’s no longer news that the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Minister of interior, Abduralman Dambazu, the Inspector General of Police and others met with the Miyetti Allah Association in Kebbi State and offered them hundred billion naira to stop the incessant killings throughout the country for two years.

This is not only unbelievable coming from a government that proscribed IPOB Protesters after killing them in dozens, it’s rather unfortunate having gotten to a point where policemen are kidnapped and they have to regain their freedom by ransom.

We have been made to believe that our president is a man of integrity. A man who fears Allah, but that is now clearly far from the reality, if killers of innocent people are appeased in billions.

The SSA to Buhari on media and publicity has made us to understand that the Miyetti Allah is like the Afenifere and Ohanaeze, but we haven’t seen the members Ohanaeze or Afenifere killing or going on a “revenge”as they always call it.

What could make the Federal Government of Nigeria sit down to negotiate and arrive at the payment of 100B to the world’s fourth deadliest terror group is still mind-boggling. There’s more to it than meets the eye.

In a country where the annual budgets of some States are less than N80B, we have to pay terrorists N100B to allow us some peace for the next two years, what then happens after two years? The contract will automatically be renewed.

The presidency has also come out to deny that no money was offered to Miyetti Allah to stop the killings. Who do they think they are actually deceiving by misinforming us? A government that admitted “repentant Boko haram ” members before our eyes into the Nigerian Army can do anything.

This country is a mess, and it is really unfortunate that the second half of this present government is yet to begin, this country actually needs more than a revolution.
